SERVICE RADIUS & ROUTES

WHERE WHERE I WORK

Based in Dumfries, I run regular routes across Southern Scotland and Northern England. Whether you are on the M6 corridor in Cumbria or the dairy belt of Ayrshire, I bring my workshop to your yard. No travel surcharges for scheduled runs.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Straight answers to the things farmers ask me most.

No. Unlike flail machines that hammer the concrete, my diamond discs cut cleanly. I never groove directly over the re-bar reinforcement, ensuring the structural integrity of your slats remains 100% intact.
With my Diamond Disc method, you typically get 7-10 years of effective grip depending on scraper frequency. Flail grooving often wears smooth in 12-18 months.
Ideally, yes. We need a clear run to work efficiently and safely. However, we can work in sections (e.g., between milking times) to minimize disruption to your routine.
Yes. I am based in Dumfries but travel weekly through Cumbria (Carlisle, Penrith), The Borders, and Ayrshire. For larger herds or full-yard jobs, I travel UK-wide.
CLIENT FEEDBACK

WORD ON THE YARD

Don't take my word for it. Here's what local farmers say

"Ryan came out to groove the collecting yard. The difference in the cows was immediate—no more hesitation coming into the parlour. Proper neat job."

James T.Dairy Farmer, Carlisle

"Had a lame cow issue for months. Ryan trimmed the herd and grooved the feed passage. Lameness dropped off within weeks. Worth every penny."

Robert M.Beef Finisher, Dumfries

"Good reliable lad. Turned up when he said he would, did the job, cleaned up, and left. The freeze branding is crisp and readable."

Alistair C.Ayrshire
